Dr Chaiken is an industry veteran with global expertise following a 23-year career at Pfizer where she held senior executive roles, including Chief Medical Officer for the company's Biopharmaceutical Group for Emerging Markets. In this role, Dr Chaiken built a high-performing medical affairs organization with leadership across multiple product categories, including Pfizer's vaccine assets. Dr Chaiken brings considerable success in launching new products in markets and extensive experience designing and executing late-stage clinical trials to Vaxxas as the business scales-up towards commercializing its vaccine technology platform. She holds a BA in Chemistry from the University of Rochester, an MD from SUNY-Downstate, and is a Fellow of Endocrinology/Diabetes & Metabolism at Harvard Medical School, Beth Israel Hospital in Boston.
